About FMS
Fareham Musical Society, or FMS as it is commonly known, was founded in 1983 by Betty Richards, who had a dream that Fareham might one day have its own musical theatre company performing in the town at Ferneham Hall. That dream came true in 1986, when we performed our first show at the venue.
Since then, we have staged a parade of musicals, both well known and not so familiar, as well as diversifying into comedy and dramatic plays. We pride ourselves on our versatility as a company, and are very grateful to our founding member Betty, who celebrated her 90th birthday in 2017.
